Michael M. Shea

Michael M. Shea founded the Shea Law Firm in 1966 and is one of California's most knowledgeable personal injury attorneys representing injured persons and their families in complex and catastrophic injury cases. He is certified as a trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and recognized trial lawyer in the fields of personal injury and products liability by the Consumer Attorneys of California. His specialties include neuro law, product liability, industrial accidents, wrongful death, and bad faith insurance claims.

The general circumstances of the traumatic event are numerous and include motor vehicle accidents, construction accidents, injury from unsafe or defective products, toxic exposure, amusement park accidents, motorcycle accidents, roadway design cases, to identify a few.

Mr. Shea practices in State and Federal courts primarily within the state of California, however, he has also represented injured persons in the states of Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Utah.

In addition to his numerous professional activities, Mr. Shea has also been a faculty member at the Stanford University School of Law (Stanford Advocacy Center, 1994) and taught seminars for Consumer Attorneys of California and the Santa Clara County Bar Association Trial Advocacy College.
